On June 22, 2023, the Korea Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2023-8 (Case Investigation No. 23-2022-6), stating that in view of the applicant’s application on April 25, 2023 Japan submitted an application to cancel the anti-dumping investigation and decided to terminate the anti-dumping investigation into oriented polyester yarn (Polyester Filament Partially Oriented Yarn, POY, or pre-oriented yarn) originating in China and Malaysia. The Korean tax number of the product involved is 5402.46.9000.
On February 24, 2023, the Korea Trade Commission issued Announcement No. 2023-3, in response to the application submitted by the Korea Chemical Fiber Association on December 27, 2022, for An anti-dumping investigation has been launched on oriented polyester yarn originating in China and Malaysia.
