Mali Textile Company enters substantial restart phase

The Mali News Network reported on May 18, 2023 that the Malian Minister of Industry and Trade informed the cabinet meeting held on May 17 that the Malian Textile Company (COMATEX-SA, commonly known as Ségou Textile factory) has entered the substantial restart stage. As the transitional government appointed the company’s board members and general manager, the company’s board of directors held a meeting on April 17 to formulate a restart schedule, which is expected to be put into production in mid-June this year.
