EU terminates anti-subsidy investigation on polyester staple fiber imported from China

According to a report by “Vietnam News” on January 15, the European Commission has terminated its countervailing investigation into polyester staple fiber imported from China, India, and Vietnam. This move is expected to promote the chemical fiber exports of the above three countries to the EU. From 2009 to September 30, 2014, Vietnam was subject to seven countervailing investigations, including five from the United States, one from the European Union, and one from Canada.
