On January 14, we learned from the Guangdong Zhanjiang Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau that according to a recent notice issued by the Ministry of Finance and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies in various places will conduct inspections on all outbound cargoes that apply for inspection at all ports across the country in 2015. Textile and other goods, means of transport, containers and other statutory inspection and quarantine items are exempt from exit inspection and quarantine fees.
It is reported that since 2013, entry-exit inspection and quarantine agencies in various places have implemented inspection and quarantine fee reduction and exemption policies in strict accordance with the requirements of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. They have implemented the inspection and quarantine fee reduction and exemption policy for export commodities for three consecutive years. Only Zhanjiang, Guangdong has exempted exports. Commodity inspection and quarantine fees are approximately 30 million yuan, which effectively reduces the burden on my country’s foreign trade enterprises, strongly supports the expansion of exports, and promotes the development of local foreign economic and trade.
