Hebei – Clothing exports increased by .% year-on-year

According to Shijiazhuang Customs statistics, from January to November this year, Hebei Province’s exports of clothing and clothing accessories were 26.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.6%, and the export value accounted for 13.3% of the province’s total foreign trade export value.
Private enterprises are the main export force
From January to November, private enterprises (including collectives, private enterprises and individual industrial and commercial households) in Hebei Province exported 22.77 billion yuan of clothing, an increase of 7.8%, accounting for 86.3% of the total export value; foreign-invested enterprises exported 3.31 billion yuan, A decrease of 7.9%; the export of state-owned enterprises was 3.1 yuan, a decrease of 40.3%.
Russia, the European Union, and the United States are the three major export markets
From January to November, Hebei’s clothing was exported to 154 countries and regions around the world. Among them, exports to Russia were 13.62 billion yuan, an increase of 14%; exports to the European Union (28 countries) were 4.51 billion yuan, a decrease of 0.9%; exports to the United States were 2.95 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.1%. The total export value of the three accounted for 79.9% of the province’s total garment export value during the same period. In addition, exports to 17 Middle Eastern countries amounted to 1 billion yuan, a decrease of 14%; exports to Japan amounted to 910 million yuan, a decrease of 5.7%; exports to ASEAN amounted to 600 million yuan, an increase of 30.7%.
Export varieties are mainly fabric garments and fur garments
In the first eleven months of this year, Hebei Province exported 11.29 billion yuan of fabric clothing, a decrease of 2.9%; and exported 9.14 billion yuan of fur clothing, an increase of 26.3%. The two together accounted for 77.4% of the total export value. In addition, the export of leather clothing was 440 million yuan, a decrease of 39.6%; the export of leather gloves was 370 million yuan, a decrease of 27.1%.
In this regard, relevant experts in the province gave suggestions: Enterprises should pay close attention to new textile regulations in foreign markets, strengthen product testing and certification, and reduce trade risks; rely on technological progress, improve production and management efficiency to resolve cost pressures, enhance innovation capabilities, and improve product quality. Quality, optimize product structure, transform from “factor-driven” to “innovation-driven”, cultivate independent well-known brands with international influence to increase product added value and competitiveness, thereby further improving economic benefits; actively explore the domestic market, “domestic sales” “Walking on two legs” and “export sales”, while developing in an all-round way, it also improves its ability to resist market operating risks.
