In November 2017, Japan imported US$1.100 billion of woven clothing, a year-on-year increase of 13.91% and a month-on-month decrease of 8.89%, of which imports from China accounted for 61.02% and imports from Vietnam accounted for 12.70%.
August and September each year are the largest months for Japan’s clothing imports. However, in October and November 2017, clothing imports increased year-on-year.
