When processing some open-width fabrics that cannot withstand tension and are not suitable for folding, a hanging line speed regulator can be used.
The suspended linear speed regulator is a device that controls the speed of the front and rear unit machines through an electrical speed regulating mechanism with the help of the photoelectric effect based on changes in the hanging length or degree of slack of the fabric. Its adjustment sensitivity depends on the position of the photocell.
Figure 2-34(a) shows the speed adjustment according to the change of the hanging length of the fabric. Figure 2-34(b) shows the line speed regulator in the rotary screen printing machine, which uses the relaxation of the fabric. to control the speed of the vehicle.
5. Installation, use and maintenance of line speed regulator
(1) The suspended line speed regulator has a complex electrical structure and high maintenance requirements, so it is generally not commonly used.
(2) The adjusting device of the linear speed regulator should be refueled and cleaned frequently to maintain the flexibility of each machine part, and the electrical part should be checked frequently.
(3) Different types of line speed regulators should be used to process different types of fabrics.
