On October 2, 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Zazou Scarves Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made women’s silk scarves.
The name of the recalled product is women’s silk scarf. The material of the product is 100% silk, including 20 colors including black, red, brown, purple, gray, blue, pink, purple, red, white, etc. . Scarf measures 72 inches long and 20 inches wide. It was sold on the zazou website and other stores in the United States from August 2012 to August 2014, priced at approximately US$30.
About 3,800 of the recalled products were sold in the United States. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet U.S. flame retardant standards. So far, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and ZazouScarves have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using this product and contact ZazouScarves for a full refund.
