Exports to Japan continued to decline, with export value reaching US$1.9 billion, a decrease of 3.1%, accounting for 10.6% of total exports.
Among other major countries and regions, home textile exports to India and Thailand grew rapidly, with export volumes of US$360 million and US$300 million respectively, an increase of 52.5% and 56.9% respectively.
2. Exports from major provinces and cities have maintained growth, with Guangdong growing faster
Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shandong, and Shanghai rank among the top four provinces and cities in home textile exports in the country, and their exports have maintained steady growth, with increases of 4.6%, 9.4%, 5.1%, and 3.9% respectively; Guangdong ranks fifth, and its exports have maintained steady growth. Rapid growth, an increase of 21.1%. In addition, Xinjiang’s border trade exports dropped significantly, by 22.5%, while exports from Tianjin, Jiangxi, Chongqing and other provinces and cities grew rapidly, with increases of more than 20%.
