India’s cotton yarn exports decreased by .% year-on-year

In August 2014, India’s registered export volume of cotton yarn was 96,500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.99%, a month-on-month decrease of 2.3%, and a decrease of 2,300 tons from the previous month’s export volume. This was the first consecutive export volume since the 2014/15 fiscal year (2014.4-2014.8). Export volume in five months was less than 100,000 tons.
In the 2014/15 fiscal year (2014.4-2014.8), India’s cumulative registered export volume of cotton yarn was 468,700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 20.97%.
