Chongqing Rongchang linen exports exceed 10,000 US dollars

It is reported that as of the end of July this year, the total export volume of linen in Rongchang County, Chongqing City was US$55.83 million, a year-on-year increase of 182.2%. It is expected that the export of linen for the whole year will reach US$100 million.
It is understood that in recent years, after Rongchang was awarded the title of Professional Demonstration Base for Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading by the Ministry of Commerce, it entrusted a professional organization to formulate a linen industry plan, scientifically planning the development positioning of the linen industry, as well as long-term and short-term goals and tasks. At the same time, three new ramie planting demonstration bases were built, more than 500 acres of high-quality ramie varieties were promoted, and nearly 100 grass cloth ramie micro-enterprises were added. In addition, Rongchang successfully applied for the “Rongchang Grass Cloth” national geographical indication certification trademark and promoted its use. It actively introduced grass cloth companies, and the number of grass cloth export companies in the county increased to 12.
