Radio Prague reported on August 28 that since the Czech Central Bank intervened in the crown in November last year, the export-oriented Czech textile industry has benefited greatly, with operating income in the first half of this year reaching 23.4 billion crowns (approximately US$1.1 billion). , an increase of 12% compared with the same period last year.
According to the semi-annual report of the Czech Textile, Clothing and Leather Association, the industry’s export performance in the first half of the year reached its best state since the economic crisis in 2008.
The Czech textile industry has served the garment manufacturing industry for a long time, but in recent years it has mainly provided textile materials for the construction industry, agriculture, and rubber industry.
