According to data from the General Administration of Customs, in July 2014, my country’s exports of textiles and clothing were approximately US$30.347 billion, a year-on-year increase of 9.67%, an increase of 3.2 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 6.17 percentage points from the same period last year; a month-on-month increase of 18.33% , the growth rate expanded by 15.62 percentage points from the previous month and 3.46 percentage points from the same period last year. Among them, exports of textile yarns, fabrics and products were US$10.107 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.54%, an increase of 5.17 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 14.14 percentage points from the same period last year; a month-on-month increase of 9.15%, an increase of 20.61 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 14.14 percentage points from the same period last year. An increase of 5.34 percentage points in the same period last year; exports of clothing and clothing accessories were US$20.24 billion, an increase of 11.85% year-on-year, an increase of 1.61 percentage points from the previous month, and a decrease of 2.05 percentage points from the same period last year; a month-on-month increase of 23.51%, an increase of 10.61 percentage points from the previous month percentage points, an increase of 1.78 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
From January to July 2014, my country’s total exports of textiles and clothing reached US$162.85 billion, an increase of US$7.946 billion compared with the same period last year. It increased by 5.13% year-on-year, and the growth rate decreased by 7.58 percentage points compared with the same period last year.
