On April 13, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s bathrobes.
This recall involves FunnyPaja’s plush children’s hooded bathrobes made of 100% polyester. It features an adjustable waistband sewn into the side seams and two functional front pockets. The products are sold in sizes from 2T to 14 years old, with a total of 17 different prints and patterns, including: pink dinosaur, burgundy, navy blue, cool car, dinosaur fossil, green dinosaur, blue shark, blue and black plaid, dinosaur Home, cool spaceman, green alligator, gray digger, black white plaid, blue dinosaur, cool buffalo plaid, royal blue and navy bear. “MadeInChina”, Chinese size identification and washing instructions are printed on the product neck label.
The product does not meet federal flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from December 2020 to May 2022, with approximately 4,500 units sold, priced at approximately US$10-23.
So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.
CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact FunnyPaja for a full refund.
