Ludhiana market trader Ashok Singhal said: “The price of polyester yarn in Ludhiana has also increased by 2-3 rupees/kg, although Demand is weak, but supply concerns support market sentiment. Due to the upward trend in raw material prices, polyester yarn prices have increased. After Ramadan, downstream industry consumption will pick up. The implementation of QCO has also led to an increase in polyester yarn prices.”
In Ludhiana, the price of 30-count polyester yarn is 153-162 rupees per kilogram (including excise tax), and the price of 30-count PC combed yarn (48/52) is 217-230 rupees per kilogram (including excise tax). , 30-count PC combed yarn (65/35) is 202-212 rupees per kilogram, and recycled polyester fiber is 75-78 rupees per kilogram.
