On May 27, 2014, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and EmpressArts jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The name of the recalled product is EmpressArts children’s pajamas set, which is made of 100% cotton and comes in four models: BlueDot, BlueStripe, PinkDot and PinkFloral. The EmpressArts logo is located on the neck label. It was sold in the United States from December 2012 to April 2014, priced at approximately US$36.
About 1,400 of the recalled products were sold in the United States. The reason for the recall is that the product does not meet flammability standards. So far, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and EmpressArts have not received any accident reports.
For this reason, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers immediately stop using this product.
