Turkish apparel exports surge .% year-on-year

According to data from the Turkish Export Ministry, in April 2014, Turkey’s clothing exports reached US$1.54 billion, an increase of 17.7% compared with the same period in 2013, accounting for 11.8% of Turkey’s total exports.
In March 2014, Turkey’s clothing exports were US$1.6 billion, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%, accounting for 12.3% of Turkey’s total exports.
In 2013, the cumulative export value of Turkish clothing was US$17.3 billion, an increase of 8.3% compared with 2012.
