Domestic enterprises in India have submitted an application to the Anti-dumping Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, requesting to launch an anti-dumping sunset review investigation on flax fabrics (FlaxFabrics) from China and Hong Kong.

According to customs data, the total export value of this product to India from January to November 2013 was US$18.754 million.

The original trial of this case was filed on October 3, 2008, involving tax number 5309, and the amount involved was approximately US$20.2 million. In October 2009, India released the final ruling and decided to settle the case with a minimum price, with Chinese products at 204.89 rupees/meter and Hong Kong products at 205.52 rupees/meter.

Since the minimum price stipulated in this case will expire in October 2014, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry may formally initiate a sunset review investigation at any time.
