According to the latest statistics, Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached US$2.294 billion in February 2023, a month-on-month increase of 1.94%, a year-on-year increase of 11.48%; the export of yarn was 108,500 tons, a month-on-month increase 23.07%, a year-on-year decrease of 18.07%; imported yarn was 79,200 tons, a month-on-month increase of 30.70%, a year-on-year decrease of 1.71%; imported fabrics were 776 million US dollars, a month-on-month decrease of 17.09%, a year-on-year decrease of 17.72%.
From January to February 2022, Vietnam exported textiles and clothing to US$4.545 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 19.27%; exported 196,600 tons of yarn, a year-on-year decrease of 28.92%; imported yarn 139,900 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 19.61%; imported fabrics were US$1.712 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 26.69%.
