On March 6, 2023, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.

The recalled product is a children’s two-piece long-sleeved shirt and pants pajama set made of 65% polyester and 35% rayon. Pajama sets are available in sizes extra small, small, medium, large and extra-large in colors and prints including olive camo print, black tie-dye and light blue and charcoal stripes. “P.J. Salvage,” “Made in China” and the size are printed on a black stitched fabric label on the neck of the recalled products. Size, “Not for use with sleepwear,” “RN15741,” fiber content, “Made in China” and washing instructions are printed on the white sewn side seam label. The tracking code “09/2021T2022” is printed on the second white sewn side seam label below the washing instructions label.

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in Canada from January 2022 to March 2022, with approximately 3 units sold.

As of February 28, 2023, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

Health Canada recommends that you stop using this product immediately, keep it out of the reach of children, and dispose of it.
