Petra News Agency reported on February 15: Jordanian clothing imports will increase by 22% in 2022, with a total value of JD 235 million, of which 41% (approximately JD 97 million) will come from China, followed by Turkey JD 54 million respectively.
Official statistics show that the clothing, footwear and textile industry currently has about 11,000 enterprises across the country, employing 63,000 workers, the majority of whom are Jordanian.
