On February 2, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.

The recalled products are children’s fleece hooded robes made of 100% polyester fiber. It features a sewn-in side-seam waistband and two functional front pockets. Sold in sizes 5 to 12 in the following colors: blue, pink with brown polka dots and white with dinosaur. Double-sided inside seam label reads “Fabric: 100% polyester, Washing Instructions, Machine Wash, Do Not Bleach” and size on one side, and “Do Not Dry Clean, Wash Separately, Made in China” on the other side.

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in the United States from June 2021 to August 2022, with approximately 5,000 units sold, priced at approximately US$11-17.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC recommends that you stop using the product immediately and contact ChildLikeMe for a full refund.
