He was also fortunate to be one of the few media in the country who could wear this series to climb the 5396 Haba Snow Mountain and test this fabric. In fact, FUTURELIGHT™ was first released in New York. This time I can participate in this event as an amateur aka Outdoor enthusiast and experience new materials in advance. I am really excited!

One thing before watching: After watching the video, everyone should be able to feel the magnificence of Haba Snow Mountain and see how many difficulties we encountered. However, although the whole process was very difficult, at the moment of reaching the top, Teacher Cang found that everything was worth it!
I love the waterproof function! In the beginning, TNF gave me a few challenges to complete, but it would be boring if it were just such a simple little challenge. Yes, the ultimate challenge is – Haba Snow Mountain!
First of all, during the entire mountaineering process, I wore this new jacket to “conquer”. You must know that the entire environment in the snow-capped mountains is very wet and cold, and I am also very worried about whether this equipment can withstand it! But after going through the entire process, the FUTURELIGHT™ series has protected itself very well!

But this time, FUTURELIGHT™ fabric has created a new waterproof principle: TNF locks the density of the fabric at the nanometer level through the development of nano-knitting technology. In the actual process of encountering water, water molecules cannot pass through the nanopores, thereby achieving the waterproof function. After climbing the snowy mountain this time, no matter how wet it is, the inside can still stay dry (hahaha), so the new fabric is really nice!

Before setting off, I thought the new fabric might be similar to GORE-TEX. Although GORE-TEX has always dominated the outdoor world, it is not omnipotent because it relies on a membrane for waterproofing, so it has a certain service life, and the membrane may be washed off the first time you wash clothes. At the same time, GORE-TEX has a hard texture, looks like armor when worn, and lacks breathability, etc., which has always been its weakness. So I was a little worried at the beginning. Like this mountain climbing, if I were wearing GORE-TEX, I might not be able to perform many movements because the clothes were too hard!
So, can this waterproof fabric, which is said to be the strongest on earth, be able to support its name? In this life-threatening actual test, Teacher Cang has deeply experienced and fallen in love with the feeling of wearing FUTURELIGHT™. Thanks to the fact that it is a product of nano-knitting technology, the first thing you feel when you pick it up is that it is light and thin, as if it is an ordinary running windproof jacket.

When I came to the alpine snow line, I still felt uncomfortable. Facing strong winds, low temperatures and lack of oxygen, I even appeared A few slip-and-fall hazards! Especially in strong winds, the whole person will feel shaky. Although the cold wind blows on my face, my body can still maintain heat.

Indeed, this piece of clothing has served me well in both waterproofing and windproofing. In the end, almost all of our group reached the top of the mountain, which brought the journey to a successful conclusion. In fact, I didn’t really believe that I could do it until the moment we reached the top, but in the end we persisted until the end, and the hard work paid off.

But it should be mentioned here that the emergence of new technologies generally means high prices: the emergence of Tesla electric vehicles, the release of Apple’s latest products, etc. Similarly, the product lines that FUTURELIGHT™ appeared at TNF this time are all valuable, and some products are even double the price of the same type of GORE-TEX.
A little guess, these should be due to the high cost of raw materials due to the lack of production capacity at the beginning. And according to inquiries from relevant staff, the new technology can also adjust fabric density, thickness, etc. according to actual usage. In other words, TNF still has the ambition to slowly replace its own GORE-TEX products with FUTURELIGHT™. Perhaps in the near future, new fabrics will be popularized in more civilian-level product lines, so that everyone can use and experience the strongest waterproof experience on the surface, making the future become the present.
