On January 19, 2023, the US CPSC announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s robes.

This product recall involves VaenaitBaby children’s robes. The product is made of 100% polyester and has a hood, two front pockets and a waist belt. Available in sizes 12 months to 7 years, colors include sky, grey, ivory, pink and yellow. The side seam tag of the robe reads “Lotnumber 58644-88” and “Sep. 2018.” and the neck tag reads “VaenaitBaby” and the size name.

The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The recalled products were sold in the United States from December 2019 to June 2022, with approximately 2,400 units sold and priced at approximately US$11.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC recommends that you stop using this product immediately and contact VaenaitBaby for a full refund.
