In terms of quantity, Vietnam’s yarn export volume reached 1.09 million tons, a decrease of 17.4% compared with the same period in 2021.
Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports reached US$32.8 billion in 2021, an increase of 9.9% from US$29.8 billion in 2020. Yarn exports increased from US$3.7 billion in 2020. grew 50.1% to US$5.6 billion.
The Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) stated that Vietnam’s textile, clothing and yarn export target in 2022 is US$43 billion.
