On November 3, 2022, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2022/27, making second restrictions on curtains and decorative fabrics (man-made and synthetic fiber fabrics) originating in China. The anti-dumping sunset review has made an affirmative final ruling, deciding to continue to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved. The tax rate is 42.44% of the CIF price (the tax amount shall not exceed US$5/kg). The measures will take effect from the date of the announcement and will be valid for 5 years. The Turkish tax numbers of the products involved are 5407, 5810, 6005, 6006, and 6303.
On July 25, 2009, Turkey launched an anti-dumping investigation into curtains and decorative fabrics originating in China. On April 11, 2010, Turkey made a positive final ruling on the case and began to impose an anti-dumping tax of 70.44% on the products involved, with the tax amount not exceeding US$5/kg (see Turkey Announcement No. 2010/8). On May 24, 2016, Turkey made its first sunset review affirmative final ruling on the case, maintaining the anti-dumping duties on the products involved for a period of 5 years (see Turkey Announcement No. 2016/18). On May 22, 2021, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2021/27, which initiated the second sunset review investigation of the case in response to the application of Turkish domestic enterprises.
