On March 22, the sixth meeting of the eighth council of the Shanxi Textile Engineering Society was successfully held in Taiyuan. More than 30 people, including directors, supervisors and specially invited experts of the society, participated in the main venue and via video. The meeting was chaired by Zhang Junfeng, secretary-general of ShanxiTextile Industry Federation.
The meeting reviewed and approved the reelection plan for the ninth council of the Shanxi Textile Engineering Society; reviewed and approved the proposed list of candidates for directors, vice presidents, presidents, secretary generals, supervisors, chief supervisors, consultants and other related matters.
Du Baozhen, Vice President of Shanxi Textile Industry Federation and Chairman of the Provincial Textile Engineering Society, delivered a work report on behalf of the eighth council. The meeting required that the Shanxi Textile Engineering Society should strictly abide by the “Social Group Registration Management Regulations” and the “Shanxi Textile Engineering Society Charter”, abide by relevant national laws and regulations, and comply with the requirements of the Provincial Association for Science and Technology and the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
