On July 13, 2010, the U.S. Department of Commerce issued an announcement to make a final anti-subsidy ruling on narrow webbing with selvedges originating in China (see table below).
According to relevant legal procedures, the U.S. International Trade Commission will make a final ruling on countervailing industry harm on August 25, 2010. If the ruling is affirmative, the U.S. Department of Commerce will issue a countervailing tax order for the products involved. .
On August 6, 2009, the U.S. Department of Commerce conducted an anti-dumping investigation into narrow-width webbing with selvedges originating in mainland China and Taiwan, and conducted a countervailing investigation into narrow-width webbing with selvedges from mainland China. The products involved The customs codes are 58063210.20, 58063210.30, 58063210.50 and 58063210.60. On December 14, 2009, the U.S. Department of Commerce made a preliminary anti-subsidy ruling on the case, ruling that the subsidy rate for the enterprises involved in the case in mainland China was 0.29-118.68%.
