On July 8, 2010, Health Canada and Souris Mini Company jointly announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made children’s pajamas.
The children’s pajamas recalled this time are 100% cotton, and there are 2 styles in total: Polo pajamas (P10S100E), blue and pink, UPC code is 00101952432, CA code is 24756, available in sizes for all ages; Sleeper (P10S006B), blue and red (with elephant pattern), UPC code is 00101989089, CA code is 24756, suitable for infants and young children aged 12, 18, 24, and 30 months. The children’s pajamas were sold in Canada from February to May 2010.
The number of products recalled this time is approximately 1,238 sets. The reason for the recall is that the design and flame retardancy of the pajamas do not meet Canadian standards for children’s pajamas. To date, neither Health Canada nor SourisMini has received any reports of incidents.
For this reason, Health Canada recommends that consumers immediately keep the recalled pajamas away from children, and contact the retail store to return the product and exchange it with other products for free.
