In the first half of the year, Vietnam’s textile and apparel exports increased by .% year-on-year.

According to Vietnamese media reports, Vietnam Textile Group said that Vietnam’s textile and clothing exports in June were nearly 850 million US dollars, and the cumulative exports in the first half of the year were nearly 4.85 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 17.2%. The United States and Japan are still the largest traditional export markets for Vietnam’s textile and apparel. In the first half of the year, exports to the United States reached US$2.217 billion, a year-on-year increase of 23.8%; exports to Japan increased by 12% year-on-year; exports to China, Taiwan, South Korea, and ASEAN also experienced significant growth. Currently, Vietnam’s textile and apparel industry accounts for 2.7% of the world’s market share.
