According to data from the Turkish Statistics Bureau and the Ministry of Trade, Turkey’s garment export value from January to May 2022 was US$8.018 billion, an increase of 17.9% from US$6.801 billion in the same period in 2021.

The import value of Turkish cotton, cotton yarn and cotton cloth (HS Chapter 52) from January to May 2022 increased sharply by 63.9%, reaching US$2.223 billion, exceeding the same period last year of US$1.356 billion.
The total export value of Turkey’s knitted garments and apparel accessories (HS Chapter 61) and non-knitted garments and apparel accessories (HS Chapter 62) in 2021 is 18.294 billion Dollar.
