On June 2, 2022, the U.S. CPSC and Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made children’s hooded robes.

The recalled product is Leveret children’s hooded robe. Made of cotton and nylon, it features a hood, wrist cuffs, two functional front pockets and a removable waist belt. Robes range in size from 12-18 months to 14 years and come in colors including black, dark blue, green, grey, navy, pink, purple and white. A sewn-in neck label displays the brand “Leveret,” the robe’s measurements, material content, washing instructions and “Made in China.”

The product does not meet the flammability requirements for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.

The products recalled were sold in the United States from November 2020 to January 2022, in Canada from July 2021 to December 2021, and in the United States. About 15,930 pieces were produced, and about 16 pieces were sold in Canada, priced at US$30-35.

So far, no accidents or casualties have been reported.

CPSC and Health Canada recommend that you stop using this product immediately and contact JoeyApparel for a full refund.
