During the process, the oil used is a kind of petroleum (modified asphalt), which is usually called anti-corrosion coating. ;The cloth used is fiberglass cloth. A total of 3 layers of oil were applied and 2 layers of cloth were wrapped.
(1) Clean the base surface of the pipe:
Use a broom, dry rag, etc. to remove the metal pipe surface If there is any dirt, dust or rust, it needs to be removed first. If necessary, rust removal oil can be used for rust removal.
(2) Apply the first layer of anti-corrosion paint:
After the base surface of the pipeline is cleaned, apply the first layer of anti-corrosion paint on the pipeline, which is called primer. During the painting process, you need to use tools to lift the pipe off the ground and paint it completely 360 degrees.
(3) Lay the first layer of fiberglass cloth:
Apply the first coat of primer After that, the first layer of fiberglass cloth can be laid immediately. At this time, the oil has not dried yet, and the fiberglass cloth can easily fit tightly with the oil when wrapped around it.
(4) Apply the second layer of anti-corrosion paint:
After the first primer is dry and hard, you can apply the second layer of anti-corrosion paint , the method is the same as applying primer and will not be introduced again. Note: Different anti-corrosion coatings require slightly different drying times.
(5) Laying the second layer of fiberglass cloth:
Same as laying the fiberglass cloth for the first time, after applying the second layer of anti-corrosion paint, you can lay the second layer For fiberglass cloth, you also need to pay attention to wrapping the cloth tightly.
(6) Apply the third layer of anti-corrosion paint:
Waiting for the second painting After the anti-corrosion paint dries and hardens, you can apply the third layer of anti-corrosion paint. The method is the same as above and will not be introduced again.
After the anti-corrosion paint is left to dry and harden, our three-oil and two-cloth anti-corrosion pipeline is completed.
