During the week of April 13-19, the price of floral yarn in Pakistan remained stable. According to the current cotton price and market demand in the international market, it is expected that the price of Pakistani floral yarn may rise in the future. Pakistan’s cotton yarn exports were relatively stable last week, but due to the instability of the market environment, customers basically held a wait-and-see attitude. At present, the export price of cotton yarn from Pakistan to the Chinese market remains stable.
Last week, the domestic price of 1.4D polyester staple fiber in Pakistan has been stable at 126 rupees/kg (about 1.20 US dollars/kg). The spot price of CNF imported from China in Karachi is about 0.98 US dollars/kg; the domestic sales price of viscose fiber is 248 rupees/kg. Kilogram, the import price from China has dropped to US$1.96/kg, and it is expected that viscose fiber may further decline in the next few weeks.
