Renewcell has cooperated with Daiwabo Co. Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Daiwabo) to provide global fashion brands with Circulose, a 100% recycled textile raw material from Renewcell. of textile fibers.

Swedish textile-to-textile recycling innovation company Renewcell has signed a long-term commercial cooperation agreement with Japanese cellulose fiber manufacturer Daiwa Bo to jointly produce man-made cellulose fiber.

The agreement was brokered by Renewcell’s global exclusive trading partner Ekman Group, which promises to provide Yamato Industries with a certain amount of Circulose dissolving pulp in the next few years.

Daiwa Industries uses Circulose as a raw material to produce man-made cellulose fibers and supplies them to global textile manufacturers and fashion brands.

In February, Renewcell’s Chief of Corporate Development Harald Cavalli-Björkman pointed out that the company had increased Circulose production capacity at its factory in Sundsvall, Sweden, ahead of schedule. Due to the strong interest of customers in Circulose, Renewcell decided to expand its total annual production capacity of its first factory in the Ortviken district of Sundsvall from 60,000 metric tons to 120,000 metric tons in advance.
