On January 12, 2022, the U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) implemented a recall of Chinese-made children’s nightgowns.
The recalled products are children’s nightgowns. The product is made of 100% ultra-fine polyester, available in sizes 3T-12, and available in 22-color tie-dye and rainbow colors. It features a belt and unicorn-like hat with buttons inside. The neck tag indicates fiber content, washing instructions and “Made in China”, and the side seam tag indicates garment measurements.
The product does not meet the flammability standards for children’s pajamas and may cause burns to children.
The recalled products were sold in the United States from January to May 2021, with approximately 3,500 units sold, priced at approximately US$30.
So far, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
The U.S. Consumer Safety Commission (CPSC) recommends that consumers should immediately stop using the product and contact HulovoX for a full refund.
