On November 19, Deji High-end Textile Industrial Park was unveiled in Deji Street, Zhangjiagang. The industrial park integrates technology, green and intelligence and is planned to be constructed in three phases, covering a total area of 456 acres. The first phase of the project covers an area of 101 acres, with an estimated investment of 480 million yuan. It will be completed and put into production next year, with an annual output value of 1.6 billion yuan. After the industrial park is completed, the annual output value will exceed 6.5 billion yuan.
In recent years, Deji Street has made every effort to promote the renovation and upgrading of old industrial concentrated areas, seeking space and resources from existing construction land. In terms of quality, more than 470 acres of inefficient industrial land have been vacated, and 62 scattered and polluting enterprises have been shut down.
