On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China, Sun Ruizhe, President of the China Textile Industry Federation, sent a message to the textile youth:
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Youth League of China. The century-old struggle of the Communist Youth League is a process of Chinese youth’s continuous struggle to realize the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation under the direct care and leadership of the party. As an important livelihood industry and economic front, the textile industry provides a broad stage for generations of young people to devote their blood and sweat, contribute their wisdom and strength, and establish merit and glory.
After years of development, today’s Chinese textile industry is striving to climb to the top of the world’s textile power with the pattern and momentum of “clothing and quilts for the world”. The industry and national rejuvenation resonate at the same frequency and have begun to enter the best period of development. A new historical picture is waiting for new people to show off; the new century-old journey is the pace of youth.
The long river is mighty, the youth is passionate; the sea and sky are vast, and the future is bright. I hope that the majority of textile youths will live up to their time and forge ahead with hard work.
Firm ideals and beliefs, aim high, stick to the green hills, learn to grow and achieve dreams in the vast world and future where “all things can be woven”;
Have the courage to take on responsibilities, work diligently, strive and contribute, and serve the prosperity of the country and the happiness of the people with the ability to turn an iron rod into a needle and the willingness to be a wedding gown;
Improve talents and knowledge, keep pace with the times, be determined to innovate, and inject momentum into industrial development and create value with the spirit of leading the times.
Youth is full of passion and sincerity; it is the faint morning light and infinite possibilities. I hope that young people will devote themselves to the cause of Jinxiu, write a youth with no regrets, seize the Jinxiu years, and sing the song of youth.
