In order to enable new employees to master the cotton dry sowing and wet cultivation technology as soon as possible, on May 10, the 50th Regiment of the Third Division held a cotton cultivation technology training class.
In recent years, Tumushuk City of the Third Division has continued to carry out vocational skills improvement actions, focusing on agricultural knowledge training and the promotion of new technologies as the focus of cultivating new types of employees and improving employee skills, and has continuously increased training for employees. Various vocational skills training courses such as agricultural planting and breeding training and diversified income-increasing entrepreneurship training are held every year during the off-season. Through training, front-line workers have mastered practical agricultural technologies, creating a new group of workers who can use them, understand the technology, and know how to manage. This year, a total of 25 classes of agricultural production training have been carried out for 1,461 people.
For this training, the group specially invited senior agronomist Ji Yuxiang to give lectures. The lectures focused on systematic explanations of cotton seed selection, water and fertilizer operation, drip emergence, types of diseases and insect pests, etc., and practical demonstrations were conducted. The trainees also visited the infrastructure cotton fields and exchanged views on difficult technical issues. After the training, the employees expressed that they had benefited a lot, realized the necessity of scientific planting, and were motivated for future cotton management.
