On December 7, 2021, Health Canada announced a recall of Chinese-made girls’ windbreakers.
The recalled product is SHEIN double-breasted girls’ windbreaker. The SKU is 03201013819.
When the product is not installed correctly, the user may be trapped between the armrest and the side of the mattress, posing a risk of death from suffocation.
Lead content in products exceeding the maximum allowable limit will cause a series of serious effects on children’s health.
The product was sold in Canada from October 2020 to September 2021, with approximately 11 units sold.
As of October 29, 2021, no reports of accidents or casualties have been received.
Health Canada advises consumers to stop using this product immediately, and SHEIN will automatically refund the full amount to the purchase account.
