India exports 10,000 tons of cotton yarn

In September, India exported 117,100 tons of cotton yarn (under HS: 5205), a month-on-month increase of 1.04% and a year-on-year increase of 26.78%. In the 2021/22 fiscal year (August-September), India exported 233,000 tons of cotton yarn, a year-on-year increase of 26.63%. Currently, Bangladesh (39.73%) and China (26.52%) are still India’s main cotton yarn exporters, with a total share of 66.25%.
