On August 31, 2021, the Revenue Bureau of the Ministry of Finance of India issued a notification No. 49/2021-Customs (ADD), stating that in view of the fact that the Indian central government has not issued a notice to the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India in August 2021, On October 24, a conclusion was reached on the sunset review final recommendation made by China’s Glass Fiber and Articles Thereof. Therefore, it is necessary to extend the validity period of anti-dumping measures on products originating in or imported from China to October 31, 2021 (inclusive). This case involves products under Indian Customs Code 7019.

On January 8, 2010, the Indian Ministry of Commerce and Industry launched an anti-dumping investigation into glass fibers originating in or imported from China. On March 4, 2011, the Indian Ministry of Finance issued Notification No. 30/2011-Customs, imposing anti-dumping duties of 7.46-40.91% of the CIF value on the Chinese products involved. On July 7, 2015, India launched its first anti-dumping sunset review investigation into glass fibers originating in or imported from China. On September 1, 2016, the Indian Ministry of Finance issued Notice No. 48/2016-Customs (ADD), which continued to impose anti-dumping duties based on CIF on the Chinese products involved, with a tax rate of 20.46-47.15%. On September 25, 2020, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that it would launch a second anti-dumping sunset review investigation into glass fibers originating in or imported from China. On August 24, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement to make a positive final ruling on the second anti-dumping sunset review of glass fibers originating in or imported from China.
