Meng Jiaguang is a second-level professor of textile science and engineering at Xi’an Engineering University, a Ph.D. in engineering, a doctoral tutor at Xi’an Engineering University, and a doctoral tutor at Tianjin University of Technology. He has been awarded the title of China’s Textile Academic Leader, National Textile Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent, Shaanxi Provincial Key Discipline – Textile Engineering Discipline Leader, Evaluation Expert for National Major Science and Technology Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Deputy Director of the Knitting Professional Committee of the China Textile Engineering Society, and Member of the Expert Committee of the China Knitting Industry Association. These wool knitting theories and methods have been widely used in the wool knitting industry at home and abroad, and have promoted the technological progress of the world’s wool knitting industry.
Meng Jiaguang led the scientific research team to also develop nano-anti-mite and anti-bacterial functional knitted fabric production technology and products, nano-anti-wrinkle functional silk knitted fabric production technology and products, heating functional knitted fabric production technology and products, which have reached the international advanced level. Warm functional knitted fabric production technology and products, cool functional knitted fabric production technology and products, magnetic health functional knitted fabric production technology and products, cashmere raschel blanket production technology and products, worsted yak sweater production technology and products, etc. The production technology and products have been industrialized in related domestic knitting enterprises, producing significant economic and social benefits.
