On April 24, 2009, the European Commission’s Rapid Alert System for Non-Food Products (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning on the “Yonchen” brand children’s jackets produced in China. The notifying country in this case is Greece.
Since this product is equipped with an elastic drawstring with a protruding ring on the neck, it does not comply with the relevant EU standard EN14682, so there is a risk of strangulation.
Currently, importers have taken the initiative to take corrective measures.
To this end, it is recommended that relevant domestic production and export enterprises attach great importance to this.
