Recently, the first 100,000-ton production line of Sateri (Changzhou) Fiber Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Golden Eagle Group, was officially put into operation and produced the first package of fiber products.
It is understood that this is the largest lyocell fiber production line in the world. The official commissioning of this production line has consolidated Sateri’s leading position in the field of green fiber production and also helped promote the further development of domestic lyocell fiber production.
Lyocell fiber is a cellulose fiber made from natural plants. There is almost no chemical reaction during the processing and production process, and the organic solvent used can almost be recycled. It is a truly green fiber. In addition, lyocell fiber also has the characteristics of natural fiber cotton such as comfort, good hand feeling, and easy dyeing. Clothing made of Lyocell fiber not only has a natural luster, smooth feel, high strength, and basically does not shrink, but also has good moisture and air permeability, and is extremely tough whether it is dry or wet.
In order to meet the growing demand for green and sustainable products in the consumer market and support the national environmental protection and sustainable development concepts, Lyocell fiber is the new key business expansion direction of Sateri Group. Sateri (Changzhou) Fiber Co., Ltd. is the group’s third lyocell factory. The project was signed on May 8, 2020, and the foundation stone was laid on April 7, 2021. After more than a year of construction, the project has been officially put into operation. With the successful commissioning of this 100,000-ton production line, the project team will continue to expand the production scale and complete the company’s design goal of 300,000 tons of lyocell fiber production capacity.

The product has also passed the regulatory testing of the EU regulation REACH “Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals”.
