According to reports from the Italian ANSA website, according to Brussels news, at the request of relevant Italian organizations, the European Commission agreed to provide certain subsidies to employees of Italian textile companies currently in crisis.
In order to start budget allocation as soon as possible, the European Commission will immediately submit it to the EU Parliament and the Council of Ministers for discussion and approval. The application amount for this support fund is 35.158 million euros, which will help 6,000 employees in the Italian textile industry find jobs, especially laid-off employees of small and medium-sized enterprises in Sardinia, Piedmont, Lombardy, Tuscany and other regions.
