The above tapes can all be used for electrical insulation. The insulation grade of 6701 can reach Class B or above. 6701 has been approved by UL, and the thickness ranges from 0.05mm to 0.22mm. Acetate cloth tape is divided into rubber type acetate cloth and acrylic type acetate cloth according to the type of adhesive. According to the usage requirements of different electrical products, it is necessary to add flame retardants and perform flame retardant treatment on the base material. If the finished acetate cloth can achieve self-extinguishing (fire prevention) when leaving fire, it is called “flame retardant acetate cloth”; no retardant is added. Products containing flame retardants will ignite upon ignition and cannot automatically extinguish. They are “non-flame-retardant acetate cloth tape”. Generally speaking, the acetate cloth base material and adhesive itself are not fireproof and require special processing to achieve the “flame retardant” effect.
Because the acetate cloth base material has strong moisture absorption and breathability, good resilience, easy washing and drying, no static electricity and hair balls, and excellent aging resistance, it can last more than 15 years. The acetate cloth tape processed with acetate cloth base material has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, anti-aging, soft and conformable, good shapeability, easy to punch, easy to unwind, acid, alkali, mildew resistance, etc., and has excellent insulation performance. Compared with general glass fiber cloth and glass cloth, it is widely used in televisions, transformers, air conditioners, computers and other manufacturing fields.
