The eighth meeting of the 10th Standing Council of the Chinese Sericulture Society was held online on January 18, 2022 through Tencent Conference.
Researcher Liao Sentai, Chairman of the China Sericulture Society, attended the meeting and made a concluding speech. Researcher Li Long, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Sericulture Society, presided over the meeting. Deputy Secretary-General of the China Sericulture Society, Associate Researcher Liu Ting, briefed the 11th Council of the China Sericulture Society. The basic information of the person-in-charge candidates, candidates for supervisors of the first supervisory board of the China Sericulture Society, and candidates for the head of the Silkworm Breeding Branch of the China Sericulture Society. The meeting approved in principle the proposed list of candidates mentioned above.
Zhang Ying, executive director of the Chinese Sericulture Society and executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the Anhui Sericulture Society, attended the meeting. This is a new meeting method adopted in response to the COVID-19 epidemic. It is efficient, frugal and time-saving, and has been fully recognized by the participants.
