On December 4, 2019, Ukraine issued notification No. G/TBT/N/UKR/157 through the WTO on the draft technical law on labeling and marking of textile fiber names and contents. The draft provides for rules regarding the use of names of textile fibers and labeling and marking of the fiber content of textile products, rules for the labeling or marking of products containing non-textile parts of animal origin, and rules for determining by quantitative analysis of binary and ternary textile fiber mixtures Rules for the fiber content of textile products.
The comment period for the notification is 60 days after the notification is released.
