On January 4, 2020, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/38, which regulates synthetic long fiber fabrics originating in mainland China (Turkish: sentetik filament ipliklerinden dokunmu? mensucat) launched an anti-circumvention investigation to examine whether synthetic long fiber fabrics originating in mainland China were re-exported to Turkey through Malaysia to avoid higher anti-dumping duties. On January 21, 2015, Turkey extended the anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case from mainland China, Taiwan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Thailand for the second time (see Turkish Ministry of Economic Affairs Announcement No. 2015/3). On August 22, 2015, the Turkish Ministry of Economy issued Announcement No. 2015/41, extending the anti-dumping duties of 21.13% and 70.44% on products involved in mainland China to products involved in Bulgaria. On September 7, 2018, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2018/33, launching an anti-circumvention investigation into synthetic and man-made short fiber fabrics and synthetic long fiber fabrics originating in mainland China. On May 7, 2019, the Turkish Ministry of Trade issued Announcement No. 2019/15, making a final anti-circumvention ruling on synthetic and man-made short fiber fabrics and synthetic long fiber fabrics originating in mainland China, and decided to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved in the case from mainland China.
